Celcom 3G in Alor Setar

By September 2006, you guys can enjoy 3G service in our home town! Its actually a 3GX (3.5G/HSPDA) which is better than 3G. The speed is 1-2 Mbps. I haven't try the 3GX area, but the normal 3G in my area (Subang/Kota Kemuning) working around 200-350kbps (40kBps). 3GX should work around 200kBps. Celcom 3G will cover all major city nation wide by end of this year.
Sierra Wireless AirCard 850 is the datacard you can get out there for RM1388. It support 3GX 1.8Mbps. Its can slot in your PCMCIA completely except the antena.(antena looks wiered, very tiny and looks fragile). Its better than the Hwawei E600 datacard recommand by Celcom before which only support up to 384bps and abit bulky where you have to take it out from the PCMCIA when you put in you beg. (2 months ago, they charge me RM1480, but now only RM10xx)

The 3G package for unlimited access.
1. a postpaid package(voice call/SMS, min RM50) + 3G unlimited(RM99)
2. data only RM120 for unlimited 3G

Hey, i'm not the Celcom agent here. Dont think i doing sale here. Anyway, you might consider using 3G instead of TMNUTS Steamix in terms of reability. Well, my experience for steamix, line down once a month or 2. downtime 2-6days.(depends on our package, if you are RM88 or so, thank God if they come whitin 3 days, if you are coopereate package 4xx-6xx, 1-2 days) If you ever report a complaint to TMNUTS, you will get a report no. the no. are accumulate, I have calculate the no. Its around 20,000 report generated in 1 day. Good luck to you and have a nice day.

National Day

Coming to the month of our national day, we start to see a lot of news about activities held to promote the "patriotic" feeling to the country. Well, its normal people do something to celebrate the coming festival. Especially when it is our nation biggest event.
Ok, here is what i want to say, I read a news recently. Its about a bunch of University students collect thoundsands of prepaip cards and assemble them into a national flag and win "Malaysia book of record" award. Its seem like a normal news that you oftenly come across, people probably read through and then forget about it. But I have been thinking about the motive and the purpose of those people who held this kind ot activity. When i see the photo of those students holding the award certificate and stod infront of the flag made by prepaip card, I wonder how the students think when they do all those stuff. Are they did that by themself or some stupid lectures taught them. Another one is, also a bunch of student and some lecturers using RM1 coin to make a line and claim for the "longest RM1 coin line made" in the Malaysia Book of record. What have they learn and what is the contribution? I donno who startup the "Malaysia book of records", people eagerly try to get into this book by doing things that serve little purpose. They did all those the biggest, the longest thing that only spend money or time and did not contribute to the nation. Dont tell me that they are recycling, I think "gather the garbage and make it a bigger one" is more suitable. For me, i think they just making something for people to laugh with. Why not they held marathon, some sport events, hospital visiting, or some family gathering. Its that more meaningful?

Come to my place

My office at Kota Kemuning

This is my company office, i just move in here at April. During the office moving, its just like hell, yes, of course we have hire a mover to help in the process, but I tell you, the mover is everything but professional. Most of our furniture suffer damages here and there during the process At the end, I also have to be 'Guli' to help them along. Next time, if your company are moving, get a professional mover, or take MC on that day, or resign (This is the best choice).
This place is very quiet cause it situated at outskirts of Shah Alam. A 15 min drive from Taipan Subang. At least I don't have to pay for toll to get here, and also not need to pay for parking, its not a bad place to be. Although its not a very busy place, some very good food can be found here. Come here lah, I buy you a meal, .....If you can find the place.

Well, I did help in the renovation process of the office. But I not the one to decide the building color, ...You know what I mean. The picture is the 3d demo I did to simulate the effect. I believe I made quit some good color combination, right? Which one you like most? the green one, or the red one?
